Learning how to search people on Facebook allows you to reunite with new friends. The best part about Facebook is that it is growing and growing each and every day. Therefore, some of your old friends are bound to create a Facebook account. If they do, then you can easily use the search feature to find them. You can also use this feature to find family and co-workers. Here are a few steps that you should follow to begin your search.
To search people on Facebook, you will need:
- Facebook account
- To be able to add the people you search you will need to have a Facebook account. If you do not have one, you can create one easily by clicking on "Sign Up." Fill in all of the fields correctly and accurately. Use your real name as you want your friends or family that you add to be able to recognize who you are.
- Click on the "Find Friends" option of your homepage on the left hand side of your screen. Enter the name or email address of the person that you are searching for. If you know the person's email address you will be able to find them easier. This way you do not have to filter through numerous similar results.
- If you know the first and last name of the person that you are searching for then type it into the search box. You can find the search box at the very top of your screen. Once you have entered the person's name then click the magnifying glass to begin your search.
- Filter out your search. Facebook does not have an extreme amount of filters, but you can click on the "People" tab to filter out any groups or pages that may show up in your results.
