Send Google Voice Invite

If you use Google Voice, you may want to know how to send Google Voice invites to your friends and family. This is a difficult process because Google Voice is still slightly limited for a few reasons, but there is a way to request a limited number of invitations linked to your account. Requesting invitations is a rather easy process, but keep in mind that your request may be denied.

What you will need:

  • Google Voice account
  • Name and email of person you want to send an invite to
  1. Sign into your Google Voice account. To follow the link that you need to, you will have to sign into your Google Voice account so Google knows which account applied for the invitations and which account to allow the invitations. If you have yet to create a Google Voice account, you will need to do that by going to Google.com/voice and following the links to create an account.
  2. Follow the link to get to the page where you can enter your name and email to apply the invites. After you enter your name and email, the people at Google will review your account and decide whether to allow you to send invites from your Google Voice account. You have a higher chance of getting the invites for your account if you have used it greatly, especially if you have put money into the account for international calls from your Google Voice account.
  3. If you receive the invites for your account, you will be notified by Google and see “Invites” under you account balance. Enter the proper information after clicking invites to send one to your friend’s email.
