In most cases, these individuals can be found with relative ease through referrals from coaches and community members. Athletes should start as young as possible in order to achieve optimal results.
- Practice. As with other sports, learning how to be a good springboard diver takes time. Athletes should be willing to devote at least thirty minutes each day to the sport, and even more time during the regular season. Because of these time requirements, athletes should make sure that they have a genuine interest in and love for the sport. Those who have only minimal interest in it should look for another activity.
