Spritzer Recipes
Whether you're looking to host a party or just kick back on your patio with a cool drink in hand, spritzer recipes always come in handy.
A spritzer is a drink made up of an alcoholic beverage (usually wine), a carbonated beverage, and optional additional flavors. You can also make a non-alcoholic version out of a carbonated beverage and fruit juice. The drink is light and refreshing, and perfect for a hot summer day.
To make a spritzer, you will need:
- White or blush wine, such as White Zinfandel, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, or Pinot Grigio
- A carbonated beverage, such as a light-flavored soda (7-Up, Sprite, or ginger ale), soda water, or seltzer
- Ice
- Fruit juice, such as cranberry, blueberry, pomegranate, or apple (optional)
- Fruit slices for garnishing (optional)
- Pitcher or cocktail shaker
- Glasses for serving

Non-Alcoholic Spritzer Recipe
You might want to enjoy a tasty spritzer without the extra buzz. Making a non-alcoholic spritzer can be a great way to enjoy a satisfying drink without all of the added sugar of many sodas and juices.
- 1 part carbonated beverage
- 2 parts 100% fruit juice
- Ice
- Stir ingredients in a glass or pitcher.
- Adjust the proportions to taste.
- Use fruit slices to garnish glasses, if desired.
Tip: Try different types of white or blush wines to find the one that works best for your spritzer. Some people prefer to use a dry white wine, while others like a sweeter version.
