Star Wars Battlefront 1 Cheats
There are not that many "Star Wars Battlefront 1” cheats because the game is pretty straight forward. You go forth into battle and shoot the hell out of anything that moves. You run, you jump you avoid some of the stronger enemies and you lay into the weaker ones with fury. It is a tried and true formula. It is also very fun because the setting happens to be in the Star Wars universe. "Star Wars Battlefront 1” came out for the Sony Playstation 2, Sony PSP, Xbox and Windows on the same day as the release for the “Star Wars” trilogy box set. The game was basically part of a marketing campaign and maybe that is why it seems a bit rushed. Here are some of the cheats available for this title.
- Playstation 2 cheats. The first of the Playstation 2 "Star Wars Battlefront 1” cheats is more of a programming glitch than an actual cheat. But players have been exploiting it for awhile and it does help you out a lot against the dreaded driodekas (those scorpion looking droids with the power shield). Simply run up the driodekas and push yourself up against the shield. The droid will not be able to harm you and all you have to do is wait for him to drop his shield and shoot him. The other "Star Wars Battlefront 1” cheat is more useful because it unlocks all planets giving you more places to brawl. Go to the Historical Campaign and push 'Square', 'Circle', 'Square' and 'Circle' on your controller.
- Windows cheat. Yes that says cheat. The thrill of adding "Star Wars Battlefront 1” cheats to the Windows version was pretty much skipped. But the one cheat available is pretty damn funny. It shows someone was not that into Jar Jar but loved Selma Bouvier's pet iguana Jub Jub on “The Simpsons”. Create a new profile and name your character Jub Jub. Now everyone is Ewok sized.
- Xbox cheats. The "Star Wars Battlefront 1” cheats for the Xbox include the Ewok cheat and the ability to unlock all planets. For the Ewok cheat do the same as the Windows cheat and enter Jub Jub as the profile name. To unlock all planets go to the Historical Campaign mode and use your controller to enter 'X', 'Y', 'X' and 'Y'. There is also a programming glitch you can use to cheat a little. At the 'Echo Base' mission there is a tauntaun standing in front of the hanger. Jump on it and go into the hanger. Look to the right and you will see a wall with boxes stacked up against it. Go in between the boxes to walk through the wall.
