The best technology gadgets 2010 might actually be some of the best technology gadgets of the last decade when the dust settles. The technology gadgets 2010 have done quite a bit to advance gadgets in general in that most of them have allowed consumer technology to continue to make a serious wad of cash despite the country's general economic problems.

  1. iPad. No other device has changed the way so many people spent their free time than the iPad, easily making it one of if not the best technology gadget 2010.  The iPad was released in April of 2010 and was immediately one of the most sought after consumer electronics devices in the world. Since its release it has only gained in popularity and usefulness as Apple knows what it has.
  2. Microsoft Kinect. While the iPad changed the way people did their personal computing, the Kinect changed the way people played video games making this one of the best technology gadgets 2010. The Kinect took what the Nintendo Wii did and improved on it, combining the better graphics of the Xbox with the motion technology Nintendo had been on the forefront of.
  3. Sprint EVO 4G. The Spring EVO 4G is simply an improvement on the original but the level of improvement makes it one of best technology gadgets 2010.  The Sprint EVO 4G is bigger and faster than other Android powered smart phones and is one of the only smartphones specifically designed to operate on the 4G network meaning faster loading and downloading speeds.
  4. iPhone 4. It is really no surprise that Apple has two of the best technology gadgets 2010. Both the iPad and the iPhone 4 are two of the best gadgets in their respective fields. While the original iPhone was great, there was certainly room for improvement and with each new release Apple has honed one of its flagship gadgets. 
  5. Samsung Galaxy Tab. It took most of the year, but somebody did finally release a good competitor to the iPad. One of the best technology gadgets 2010 because it did a lot of what the iPad did but with some added tweaks like a built in camera and the Android operating system. The Samsung Galaxy Tab certainly lagged behind the iPad in sales thanks to Apple's product being more well known but the Galaxy Tab was picking up steam at the end of 2010 and will only get more popular as time goes by.
