  1. Discuss strategies with your partner. Communication is important for you and your partner to have, even off of the court. Discussion with your partner how certain strategies should be utilized. For instance, will you rush the net in certain situations? Will both of you rush the net at times? You should both be aware of these doubles strategies.
  2. Play to each other's strengths. Perhaps in tennis doubles, you might be more suitable for the net and your partner further back. Identify each other's strengths so that you can develop strategies to coordinate these in doubles matches. One of the best doubles tips is chemistry, which needs to be identified by you and your partner.
  3. Practice together. If you and your doubles partner want to become better, take the time to practice together. This is one of the best ways to develop chemistry on the court.  It will also give you a chance to identify strengths and weaknesses, in order to identify ways to improve and opportunities to alter your strategy.  Find some time to practice with other doubles teams to achieve these goals.
