Tequila Drinks For Parties

These tequila drinks for parties are sure to liven up any gathering you may be having. Who doesn't love a delicious tequila cocktail? There are a wide variety of drinks available, it's all just a matter of personal preference. If you plan on making a lot of tequila drinks, it is advised to select the highest quality tequila you can. The same rule goes for all alcoholic mixed drinks. The better quality alcohol is used, the more delicious your drinks will taste.

1. Ashes to Ashes

• 1 1/2 ounces tequila
• 1/2 ounce sherry
• 1 ounce lemon juice
• 1 teaspoon sweetened cocoa mix
• 1/4 ounce agave nectar
• 1 pinch ground cinnamon

1. Place all ingredients in a mixing glass.
2. Fill with ice.
3. Cover mixing glass.
4. Shake well for ten seconds.
5. Strain into a cocktail glass.
6. Garnish with cinnamon dust.

2. Red Hot Mama

• 1/2 ounce tequila
• 1/2 ounce orange juice
• 1/2 ounce tomato juice

1. Place all ingredients in a mixing glass filled with ice.
2. Cover mixing glass.
3. Stir well.
4. Strain into a shot glass for a shooter, or into a garnished cocktail glass filled with ice for a cocktail.

3. Shady Lady

• 1 1/2 ounces tequila
• 1/2 ounce melon liqueur
• Grapefruit juice

1. Fill a highball glass with ice.
2. Add tequila and liqueur, and enough grapefruit juice to fill the rest of the glass.
3. Stir well.

4. The Bookworm

• 3 strawberries
• 1 ounce cherry brandy
• 1 teaspoon sugar
• 1 ounce grapefruit juice
• 2 ounces tequila
• Club soda

1. Muddle strawberries, cherry brandy, grapefruit juice and sugar in a cocktail shaker.
2. Add ice and tequila.
3. Shake vigorously.
4. Strain into Collins glass filled with ice.
5. Garnish with grapefruit slices or strawberries.
