Go on a journey to the 16th century at the Texas Renaissance Festival. The Texas Renaissance Festival is located in Plantersville, Texas and is open weekends during October and November. The festival features 17 performance stages and over 500 costumed performers.

A common misconception is that if you come in costume you will get a discount on admission or free admission. This is not true. Guests are encouraged to wear a costume to the festival and there is a Costume Rental Shoppe located outside the front gate. Prices may go up but are typically as follows: Children $8-$15, Adult $18-$38 and adult upper class $42-$65.

Tickets at the gate are $23 for an adult (13 and up) and $11 for children (5-12). Children 4 and under are free. Please remember that ticket prices are subject to change and you should check prices before you go. Parking is free for the event. The price of admission includes all stage shows. Things such as food, drinks, games and rides are not covered in the ticket price.

Tickets can also be purchased at HEB, Randall’s, Woodforest National Banks, and Market Basket. There are also discounts for groups of 25 or more adults.

Outside food and drinks are not allowed at the festival. Exceptions are made for infants and if you can show proof of a food allergy. Re-entry into the park is allowed. Be sure to have you hand stamped before you exit the gate and you may re-enter until 6 p.m. that same day.

Primitive campgrounds are available north of the festival gates. The price for camping is $20.00 per vehicle for the weekend with the purchase of festival tickets. There are no water, electric or sewer hookups.
