Having a reliable Thai massage technique can be a valuable tool in a relationship. Whether you are going the route of easing a tightened body after a long day at work, or want something unique to begin foreplay with, a good massage can be sensual and of course, relaxing. This article outlines some of the more basic aspects of implementing a proper Thai massage technique on your partner.

  1. Use different parts of your body. In presenting your Thai massage technique to a massage recipient, it is important to use different parts of your body for different exercises within the massage. The hands of course are the most prevalent, however, in areas of extreme tightness, using the ball of your elbow to roll out some tightened areas and tenderize them is a valuable and less time consuming way to loosen an area up.
  2. Have a basic understanding of pressure points. Before performing a Thai massage, it is extremely important to have a basic understanding of pressure points that are located on the body. This knowledge ensures for one, the massage is relaxing and therapeutic for the recipient; and two, ensures that risk of injury is eliminated due to you doing something wrong unknowingly.
  3. Incorporate therapy with relaxation. Thai massages can be intense at times, this is due to the fact they put an emphasis on focusing on areas that are stressed and require an immense release of tension. This tension releasing can be somewhat brutal at times; as such, after loosening up a particularly tightened area, move back into massaging gently with your hands over the area to bring a sense of relief and give your recipient a break. A delicate balance between the two is important, and comes with practice.
