2. Walk Across the Golden Gate Bridge – If you want to see some spectacular views, this is one of the best things to do in California. The Golden Gate is a suspension bridge that is located in San Francisco. You can drive across the bridge, but it’s even more compelling if you walk across it. It gets windy, so make sure to take a jacket. Along with that, you will also want to bring a camera to snap some photos of the picturesque landscape.
3. View the J. Paul Getty Museum – This museum is located in Los Angeles, California. It has an extraordinary collection of artwork. 4. Take Pictures at Madame Tussauds Hollywood – Madame Tussauds is located on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles. There are hundreds of wax figures that look exactly like celebrities. It is a fun thing to do in California. Take your camera and spend an hour or two taking pictures with your favorite stars. 5. Visit the O’Brien Estate Winery – This should be on your list of things to do in California if you’re making a trip to Napa Valley. At this winery, you have the opportunity to walk around the vineyards. You will get to learn how wine is made. You will even get to taste some gold medal wines. 6. Check Out the USS Midway Museum – If you’re taking a trip to San Diego, this is one of the things to do in California that you won’t want to miss. The USS Midway Museum used to be a naval aircraft carrier. Now, you can walk around the large museum to see jets and airplanes. You can even sit in some of the cockpits on the planes.
