The Duquesne Incline. No trip to Pittsburgh is complete until you take a ride on the Duquesne Incline. You will never get a better panoramic view of downtown Pittsburgh than you will from the top of the Duquesne Incline. The incline is seven hundred and ninety-four feet long and rises to an elevation of eight hundred feet. After riding the hundred-year-old cable car, you can see how the machinery works by taking a tour of the interior of the incline.
