For the past several years, there has been a weird fascination with Tom Brady hair. The future Hall of Fame quarterback for the New England Patriots was perhaps more talked about for his new, long coiffure in 2010 than for his play on the field or his marriage to supermodel Gisele Bundchen. Perhaps it’s because the man seems to have everything that made the rumor that he was losing his hair and seeking help for it all the more delicious to those who dislike Brady and the Patriots. Whatever the case, there have been quite a few Tom Brady hair stories over the years and here are five of the best.

1. Tom Brady is going bald. This is by far the Tom Brady hair story that is most talked about. The perfect QB is allegedly losing his hair and seeking a remedy to save it. Brady haters would love this to be true. Is there any truth to it, though? Perhaps so. Back in 2008, the New York Post ran a story that said Brady had visited a hair-restoration clinic. Things kicked into high gear in 2010 as Brady grew out his hair and it seem thicker than it had in past seasons. The rumor from the gossip mags was that Giselle was making him go see hair loss clinics to try and stop the advancing enemy of baldness. Compare pictures of Brady from around 2008 and now and make up your own mind on the issue.

2. The Bieber cut. Back in June of 2010 when training camp opened for the Patriots, Brady unveiled his new hair style that scared the nation. It was almost a carbon copy of “tween” heartthrob Justin Bieber’s. The only problem with that is Tom Brady is pushing 34 and Biebs is only 17. To add to the ridicule, Bieber mocked Brady in his song “Speaking In Tongues” where lyrically he said “Sacked like a sacker. Call Mr. Brady. Tell him to leave his hair to that guy who sings ‘Baby.’” Owned by Justin Bieber. Oh, the horror.

3. The beard versus the hair. When great Patriots receiver Randy Moss was unexpectedly and somewhat shockingly traded in early October, 2010, it later came to light that Brady and Moss had gotten into a shouting match shortly before the trade. Apparently the two got into a heated argument over, of all things, hair! During the catfight, Brady told his receiver to shave his beard. Moss responded that Brady should cut his hair, because he looked like a girl.

4. Giselle wears the pants. It appears that Tom may actually be “Mr. Giselle Bundchen.” When asked about when he might cut his newly-luxurious mane in September, 2010, Brady replied that "Ah, you'll have to speak to my wife about that." Oh no, we have a John and Yoko situation here!

5. The headband. The latest Tom Brady hair story is perhaps the most horrific and biggest affront to manhood. Mr. Brady has been seen sporting a headband in recent photos. No self-respecting man wears a headband! It’s just not done. It’s a man law, or it should be. It’s like Tom is saying “Hey, I’m so cool I can wear a headband and still be sexy!” No. No you can’t, Tom. There is really nothing else to say on this one. Just try imagining being out with a guy who wears a headband. It’s shameful.
