There are some great two player online games out there on the internet! Online games, in general, are abundant throughout the web and are enjoyed by many all around the world. The following list of two player online games is non-exclusive and doesn't necessarily permeate through time if better ones come along. That being said, these are some amazing online games for two players:

  1. "Territory War Online" by Afro-Ninja Published by X-Gen Studios, you know this jewel of two player online games has got to be good! T.W.O. (as the game is commonly abbreviated) features multiplayer gaming action as stick figures fight each other to the death in two different armies.
  2. "Newgrounds Rumble" by NegativeOne and Luis "N.G. Rumble" epitomizes the action genre of Adobe Flash games. Each of the players gets to choose her/his favorite Newgrounds character to face-off and fight with. There's also a really neat single player mode that's not dissimilar to other console games.
  3. "RuneScape" by Jagex, Ltd A massive multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG), "RuneScape" is free for anyone who wants to join. Of course, paying members do get access to lots more cool things. Jagex's game is based in JavaScript and requires a Java Player to view.
  4. "Club Penguin" by Club Penguin Entertainment Formerly known as New Horizon Interactive, Club Penguin Entertainment runs a free online MMORPG that (like Jagex's game) is free. Also like "RuneScape," the amiable and excitingly G-rated "Club Penguin" has paid memberships.
  5. "Bowman" by Free World Group An addicting archery simulation that, unlike many online games, has been adapted to iPhone, iPod Touch and countless other devices. "Bowman" is truly a legendary Flash in many regards.
  6. "Warlords: Call to Arms" by DJStatika The entire "Warlords" series deserves mention on the Flash Hall of Fame with its numerous online games and variations. "Call to Arms" is an in-depth, strategic two player online game that gives each player control of an army to take to battle!
  7. "Cube Combat" by MINDistortion "Cube Combat" is one of Manuel Fallmann's early creations and proves to be both entertaining for two players and time-wasting. Just play this ridiculously simple example of online games; it'll explain itself.
  8. "Slime Games" by Alex Bartle The "Slime Games" such as "World Cup Soccer Slime," "Slime Volleyball" and the ridiculously repetitive "Slime Boxing" all provide that outlet of frustration we get from a hard day's work. Hats off to you, Mr. Bartle, for your simplistic and fun online games.
  9. "World War Flash" by Rustygames In "World War Flash" you can take on your friends online in a real-time Flash shooter! The game can be quite slow on older machines and those without significant RAM, so be sure to be on a computer that is designed to play online games.
  10. "Pico Roulette" by PsychoGoldfish and Tom Flup The N.G. team is back at it with their world famous character Pico! This little ginger is playing a game of Russian Roulette and it's your job not to get him killed. Play with your friend and enjoy the nonsense.

There are lots of two player online games that you could pick from, but always be sure to visit trusted sites. Some websites do pose as legitimate businesses with  "free online games," but steer clear of any that are not reputable. Whichever site you visit, have fun and be sure to win!
