Verizon Phones 2010
Verizon phones from 2010 (otherwise known as Cellco Partnership) showcased the release of a lot of great new cell phone models. This should come as no surprise though considering that they are the largest mobile phone telecommunications network and wireless phone provider within the United States today. There are currently 102.2 million subscribers to this network. In 2010, they enjoyed the following new Verizon phones:
- The Blackberry Storm 2 utilizes press screen technology so that the screen is easier to use. This technology isn’t as overly sensitive as touch screen technology is. The connection rate is also extremely fast and offers global roaming. It is one of the most popular Verizon phones on the market today.
- The Motorola Droid X is a high end Android phone that was highly anticipated prior to its release in 2010. The 4.3-inch screen utilizes touch screen technology. There is also an 8MP camera that has HD capability, HDMI output and the ability to use it at any mobile hotspot. The only thing missing is a front facing camera and a better user interface.
- The Palm Pre Plus offers great Wi-Fi connectivity and it also contains a great GPS navigational system in it. Many people consider this to be a high quality phone. This is because it also has a web operating system platform and you can run multiple applications without feeling as though your phone is lagging.
- The HTC Droid is a great phone, which shouldn’t come as a surprise since they are already championed as being a high-end manufacturer of Android phones. This one contains a lot of great features and runs at an amazingly high speed. For this reason, a lot of people championed this as the best Verizon phone of the year. It also contains an 8MP camera with 8MB of internal memory and a wide array of connectivity options for you to choose from, all of which have incredibly high browsing speeds. As such, it really does get a lot out of Verizon’s 3G network.
- The Samsung Reality has a QWERTY keyboard that offers a little more space between the keys than most of the other phones that offer this feature. This is great if you need to do a lot of texting. Another great feature of this phone is that it has extremely fast and reliable connectivity. There is also a great GPS system available through this phone.
