Serving virgin cocktails for Thanksgiving is a great idea for those with children or under-age guests who like to participate in the fun. While the adults drink their cocktails, younger guests can enjoy their virgin cocktails at the Thanksgiving party. There are plenty of virgin cocktails that you can make and there are even a few that are especially appropriate for Thanksgiving.

  1. Chai Toddy. This non-alcoholic treat is made by mixing one cup of hot chai tea with a dash of lemon juice, a tablespoon of honey and a small pat of butter. This is a warm, tasty virgin cocktail treat that is suitable for cooler weather.
  2. Apple Cider Mockail. Mix 1/2 gallon of apple cider with three cloves, a stick of cinnamon, a dash of nutmeg and an orange slice. Heat in a boiling pot for at least ten minutes. Serve with a stick of cinnamon. This is fun drink to have while either sitting in front of the fire or playing outside in the snow.
  3. Apple Ginger Sparkler. Pour two tablespoons of ginger syrup into a glass and fill the glass with ice cubes. Pour in two cups of apple cider and garnish the glass with fresh ginger and a cinnamon stick. This is a nice, cool and refreshing virgin cocktail that just about anyone will love.

When you are having Thanksgiving dinner and you want to serve some cocktails, don't leave out those who are abstaining from alcohol or are too young to drink. Try these virgin cocktails to include everyone in the good times at your Thanksgiving celebration.
