Ways To Shave A Penis Without Cutting It

There are many ways to shave a penis without cutting it. It really sucks when you're trimming down there and you get a nick. No doubt you're expecting to look good for getting down to business, but with a cut there, well that just plain hurts.

  1. Get an electric razor. This is a pretty simple solution. Unless you really screw up, you are not going to cut yourself with an electric razor. That is the point of electric razors. You won't get as smooth a cut, but that's about it. Also, if you've let yourself go down there, make sure to trim before you do this. I can't begin to tell you how much it hurts to get those hairs tugged on. In addition, this is bad for your razor.
  2. Use a hair removal cream. This is another good solution, but you have to time it right. Hair removal creams can cause rashes, and even in the best of cases can leave the skin sensitive for a number of days. Apply on a day when you probably won't be getting any for a while, just to see what happens. Or better yet, apply to a small area of your skin, and then see what it is like the day afterwards. If you react very strongly to it, you may want to consider another technique. Make sure that you moisturize the area consistently (heh).
  3. Laser hair removal. This is an expensive solution, but well worth the cost. You go in, you get zapped, and you no longer have any hair. Now, consider that you will never have any hair down there for the rest of your life. Take a month and think about it. Would you be fine looking like a 12 year old for the rest of your life? Are you okay with having lasers pointed at your wedding tackle? Think about it.
  4. Use proper shaving technique. Before you shave, put a warm, moist, soapy cloth on the area to be shaved for 5 minutes. Then add some shaving oil. The first step is to soften the hairs. Strong hairs means that the razor will be pushed down into your skin, increasing the potential for cutting. In addition, the warm water makes your skin a lot more pliable, making it less susceptible to cuts. The shaving oil will add another layer of lubrication over your skin, so you are less likely to cut it. When you apply your lather, work it in vigorously. This will make sure that all sides of your hairs and all of your skin is covered. This means you will have a better shave. And finally, always shave with the grain on your first pass. If, after these steps, you are still cutting yourself, then you may want to consider one of the above steps.
