Web Browsers For Windows
If you have a Windows PC, then you should know some web browsers for Windows. These browsers will all run very well on Windows PC’s and you should try out all of them to see which one fits your personal preference the best. Be aware that there are all kinds of web browsers, but these are the primary ones that most internet users choose from to hook up to the World Wide Web.
- Internet Explorer. If you own a Windows PC, then you are probably stuck with this browser on your computer whether you like it or not. This is not to say that Internet Explorer is a bad browser, in fact it is great with all of the bookmark and favorites options to sort your favorite sites. It also usually runs pretty quickly on your Windows PC because the computer was designed from the ground up with this web browser. With all of these perks for this web browser there is one bad thing about Internet Explorer; it has had some security problems because hackers make it one of their primary targets for viruses and such because it is so popular among the owners of Windows PC’s.
- Mozilla Firefox. Easily the second most used web browser among Window’s PC owners, Firefox has some great things about it. First of all, it is a more streamlined experience than Internet Explorer having only a bookmark option instead of both bookmarks and favorites. The security issues that you face with Internet Explorer are not as much a threat with Firefox because it isn’t as big a target as Internet Explorer for viruses and hackers.
- Google Chrome. The newest browser available to users is Google Chrome. Chrome is an even more streamlined experience from Firefox and Internet Explorer in that it, if you don’t put any extras into the browser, you get all of the basics such as bookmarks and that’s about it. Chrome has been tested to be a lot faster but isn’t as good for the gadget lovers.
