Are you looking for websites like MySpace? MySpace is considered the start of the social networking revolution that seems to have sweep the world, opening the door for networks like Facebook, Twitter, Bebo and LinkedIn. However, with the popularity of Facebook, MySpace has slowly begun a decline as one of the top social networks. What does someone do if he is comfortable or familiar with MySpace, but doesn't want to continue using the specific site?

  1. Facebook If you're just looking for another type of social network, of course switching to the most popular social networking site works. Facebook began as a way for college students to connect with other students, but it has now become a site for friends, families and celebrities—even businesses use the site to connect with others. Like MySpace, Facebook has web games you can play solo, with your friends or other Facebook users. There are also celebrities, bands, programs and other pages you can be fans of.
  2. Twitter If you don't know anything about Twitter, it's like a text messaging website, in which you can tell your followers about stuff you do or know in 140 characters or less. Twitter is probably the second most popular site, allowing for people to post things they see, they do or visit. Like FB, a lot of Hollywood actors, actresses and directors use the site, along with many authors and online personalities.
  3. Friendster Friendster is a gaming social website where you can play games with your friends and others, much like MySpace and Facebook. You can add friends from all around to play together or you can meet new friends on the site.
  4. LiveJournal LJ is a popular website for many creative people, allowing them to post pictures, designs, artwork and writing. Members can post in different forums, read and view other people's work and comment on works.
  5. DeviantArt Like LJ, DA is a place for creatives to post their work and receive comments from others. Where LiveJournal is a bit geared for the writing crowd, Deviant Art is geared towards the graphics and artistry portion of creativity. However, both sites host a large section of both art and writing for each creative path.

If you're trying to find websites like MySpace, you are in luck because social networking has become quite popular, so there are many websites that are popping up in order to keep family and friends together.
