What To Do On The Internet

Figuring out what to do on the internet really depends on, well, what you want to do on the internet. The internet is really like having the world at your fingertips. There's something for everyone on the internet. So ask yourself, "what do I want to do or see".  The Internet is becoming so much like the real world, that some people are scared that the human race will cease to exist in it's current form. They believe that humans will basically become parts of some online computer program. Ask yourself, how far is the human race from becoming that now? Well, here are some ideas of what you can do on the internet. 

Learn how. The internet is pretty much an infinite wealth of knowledge. Things you had to learn in a classroom twenty years ago can be learned online simply by typing the correct keywords in a search engine box. You want to learn how to play the guitar? Maybe you want to learn about the history of Rome or the New York Yankees. Well, you can learn about them all right here on the internet.

Find jobs. Remember the days when submitting an application was done either in person or via the mail? Well, companies in 2011 have turned to using email and the internet to find potential employees. Not to mention the new craze, posting your work and resume online as an HTML page.

Social networking. From IM to social networking sites. You can go out and meet people without stepping outside your door. You can even date online now, as in virtual dating.

Making money. Some of the more creative folks out there have figured out how to use those social networking sites to grab some extra cash. Online auctions, Social Media Marketing, the list goes on and on. People even trade stock online. The money is out there if you can develop a profitable online idea. Yes, the internet is big business.

For the freaks and geeks. Videogames are a no-brainer. But, did you know there are online comic books? Well there are. Streaming movies. Oh and porn. You can't forget the porn. No more spending 50 bucks on a crappy DVD or tape. You can look for specific clips.

Any and everything. You can go shopping, register for school, make airline reservations. If you don't know about the internet and it's infinite uses, it's time to climb out from under that rock and explore a little.
