- What opportunities does your company provide for employee improvement? This is a very important question because it shows the interviewer that you take this job very seriously and that you are not going to be content with simply doing your job and going home at the end of the day. Asking this question shows them that you are going to do the best you can to go above and beyond the call of duty and that you want to know more about how the company goes about improving and enhancing employee skills.
- What training does your company provide in order to assist employees in reaching their goals? Take this opportunity to put your potential employer somewhat on the spot. After all, employers have responsibilities to help their employees, just as employees have a responsibility to do the best work that they can. Thus, this question shows your interviewer that you have goals that you want to reach and that you need to know if your employer is amenable to helping your realize them.
- What kind of work will I be doing the first year? Again, this is one of those questions that shows your potential employer that you are serious about the position. By asking what your job is going to entail during your first year, you are showing that you have already thought ahead and you want to start planning your future work.
