What is stress? Stress is the emotional and pyshical strain of tension from worry about every day life things, work, family, money and pretty much everything in the world. Stress can cause you to become depressed emotional and also pyshically put you in bad health. Common signs of stress are: irriablitiy, unable to concentrate, sadness, mood swings, problems sleeping, fatigue and much more. The list goes on forever. Stress can also affect physical health conditions such as high blood pressure, soreness, fatigue, headaches and in severe cases heart attacks. It's important to realize when you are too stressed out to be sure that you can recover, relax and focus on becoming healthy and happy again.

What are the causes of stress? Typically, stress builds up over time. Anything that people have to deal with in everyday life can and will cause stress. People can try to live a stress free life, but it's almost impossible in today's world. The main cause of stress today is money issues and work related issues. Overload from working too many hours and too many demands that are not met on a daily basis at work are some examples. Also, money makes the world go round these days, and no one ever has enough to go around. Money issues are another popular stress causing issue. It's important to remember that you don't have to be perfect and everyone goes through situations. Relationships, family and almost any other issue can cause stress. It's how you deal with those situations that will help you manage stress.

How can you tell when you are stressed? Many people often confuse stress with simple worry. There is a difference between the two. When you worry, you are just concerned. When you are stressed, you feel anxious and nervous as well as irritable. To know what stress it, you must exerperience it. You will know. The more common signs include: mood swings, trouble sleeping, unable to concentrate, depression and loss of attention span. More serious signs of stress can include depression, anxiety attacks, high blood pressure, fatgiue, headaches, sickness and muscle aches and pains. To know what is stress you need to pay attention when you feel under pressure. Many times, people overlook the warning signs of stress. Look for things or change in your own attitude, personality and even the way you deal with simple issues in relationships and work issues. If you feel or notice that you are reacting differently to situations than you normally world, chances are you are dealing with stress.

How can you manage stress? Managing stress can be simple once you know what is stress and what causes stress. First of all, try to surround yourself with positive reinforcements. If you feel like you may be stressed out, take time to yourself to relax. This could be anything from chilling out and watching a movie to a relaxing bath or even just a good night's sleep. If you feel that you may be too stressed out, you should tell someone and talk about your issues and frustrations. Getting an objective outside look at your own problems may help you handle them easier. Another way to manage stress is to write a journal of things that make you stressed out can try to avoid those situations and triggers. If you try to lead a happy healthy life, you will have much more success in fighting off stress levels.
