What to Take on an Overnight Cycling Ride

Wondering what to take on an overnight cycling ride? Cycling rides are an increasingly popular activity for people so it is a good idea to be smart on what you take with. When taking items on a overnight cycling ride you want to take things you will need but nothing that will weigh you down.

  1. One good thing to bring on an overnight cycling ride is sandals. This would be nice to help you relax and feel more comfortable when you stop for the night.
  2. Sunscreen is another useful item to bring. This helps so that you are not a tomato by the end of the ride.
  3. A flashlight is rather important to take with you as well. The flashlight would help so you not get lost or injured on the way to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
  4. Other things that are needed are a sleeping bag or air mattress, a spare pair of glasses or contacts and a flat tire repair kit.
  5. Things like any medications you might require, creams to relieve muscle aches, also some light snacks to help keep your energy up.

Before going on an overnight cycling ride, be sure to look over your bike to make sure everything is in good condition. It is also important to double check all your equipment to make sure everything is straightened out before the trip.
