Knowing what to wear with black baggy jeans requires a little thought and depends not only on the occasion but also on the degree of bagginess. First, recognize that baggy does not necessarily equate with saggy—that disrespectful “show the world my underwear” look so fashionable with urban youth and inmates. Baggy can mean maybe one or two sizes too large, which is enough to have plenty of breathing room without ending up with your pants around your knees after a few steps or, worse, a stint in jail.
