Attending a concert can be a lot of fun but knowing what to wear will ensure you get the most out of the experience. You can and should always look your best though you don’t want to overdo it. Instead follow one or two of these suggestions.
Jeans and a t-shirt. You probably know that most people wear jeans and a t-shirt to a concert. What you didn’t know is that most of those people carefully crafted what they wore to that concert. Ideally you should wear the main artists’ t-shirt or your favorite artists’ t-shirt.
The shoes. Do not wear shoes that will leave your toes exposed to the hazards of other feet (e.g. sandals, slippers etc.). Of course, no one likes having their feet stepped on but if it’s going to happen wear shoes that will protect your toes! The shoes you wear should be comfortable and easy for you to move in.
Shorts. Shorts are much more comfortable and have much more ventilation than any pants you own. Shorts at a concert are good since there will be many people within a very close proximity and it will get hot and sweaty.
Hooded sweatshirt. A sweatshirt will not only keep you warm, if the concert is outdoors, but it will also protect you from your fellow concert goers body moisture. A hooded sweatshirt will also relieve you of the stress of picking out the perfect t-shirt for the concert.
The cowboy. A country music concert practically demands that you wear regular-fitting jeans, a country style shirt and cowboy boots. Whether you’re seeing a big country legend in a coliseum or a once famous megastar, a country music concert is much more fun when you dress the part. The cowboy hat is optional.
All black. If you guessed gothic or death metal concert, you guessed right. Wear black, literally, from head to toe. Black shoes, black pants, black t-shirt, even wear some black make-up. Yes, gothic concertgoer guys wear black eyeliner, black lipstick etc.
Dress like a hipster. Skinny jeans, a plaid shirt and some vintage boots should do the trick when dressing for an indie music concert. The plaid shirt must fit you snugly if you want to pull this look off.
Jeans and a dress shirt. You don’t necessarily have to get really dressed up to attend a classical music concert. Attending in nice, well-fitting jeans, a dress shirt and dress shoes will allow you to blend in and comfortably enjoy the music.
Diesel jeans and black t-shirt. This combination is perhaps the most versatile of all. The Diesel jeans and black t-shirt give you a dark aura wherever you go. The types of shoes you wear with ensemble can range from red sneakers to big black boots.
Vintage clothes. Whether it’s an old anti-drug shirt or acid-washed jeans from 90’s, you’ll be sure to make an impression on everyone you come into contact with. Vintage clothes and sneakers are original and stylish.
With that said have fun, be safe and rock on.
Before leaving the house ask yourself:
“Do I really want to carry this coat around for the rest of the night?” and
“Will these shoes be comfortable in five hours?”
