What To Wear With Plaid Shorts

Need to know what to wear with plaid shorts that you just got?  Plaid shorts are not just for golfers anymore.  Everybody seems to be wearing them and they are quite fashionable.  They are a great way to add color and print to your wardrobe.  So make yourself be noticed and don't be afraid to wear plaid shorts.  Here is a few must have items to wear  with plaid shorts:

1. A solid color polo shirt goes great with plaid shorts.  If you don't like polo shirts or you want a more laid back look, try a solid colored t shirt.  Whatever your choice in shirt, it at least needs to be a solid color.  You will have too much going on if you don't wear a solid color and you will stand out like a sore thumb.  Try and pick a color that is in the plaid shorts, so the outfit will match.
2. Sandals or some sort of slip on shoe should be worn with plaid shorts.  Sandals like flip flops look great with plaid shorts.  Also the no tie slip on athletic shoes will work and boat shoes.  Almost any shoe that you don't need to wear socks with look good with plaid shorts.
3. Wear a belt with plaid shorts.  Plaid shorts are not the kind of shorts that you want to wear baggy or let fall down past your knees.  These shorts are classy and stylish and need to be worn that way.  There is a lot of things you can wear with plaid shorts and they will still look great, but please wear them appropriately.
