When Is Winter Music Conference 2010?

Winter Music Conference 2010 was held in Miami, Florida during the week of March 23-27, 2010. The Conference is generally held at the end of March. The tentative date for 2011 is March 22-26, 2011; however this information will not be confirmed until December or January.

The Winter Music Conference is the premier showcase for Musical artists and DJs. The Conference was established in 1985 and has been running for 25 consecutive years. WMC is one of the most publicized musical gatherings of its kind and plays a vital part in the advancement of the industry. WMC gives the artists and DJs a chance to network with professionals from the music industry such as record label executives, concert promoters and agents. This venue gives the artists a chance to further their careers and get recognition within the music industry, as well as with the club scene and dance music fans.

The Winter Music Conference started off primarily as a dance music gathering. Over the course of its 25 year run it has grown and became a melting pot of musical genres. WMC now has artist representing everything from electro and hip hop to indie rock. On average, the Winter Music Conference spotlights approximately 2,000 artists and DJs. There are over 500 events scheduled during the five day span of the Conference.
