Want to know where to find vintage clothing in Los Angeles? Vintage clothing is a huge trend that is just about to explode onto the scene, for those who don't already know about it.  It's true what they say about fashion being cyclical, which explains why vintage clothing has become so popular.  Los Angeles is also a great area with many places to find vintage clothing.  Here are some places where you can find vintage clothing in Los Angeles.

  1. Goodwill A thrift store may not seem like the most obvious choice but buried beneath all the family reunion t-shirts and furniture are some vintage gems.  An open and creative mind is required when shopping in these stores, however.  Something may look like it has no potential, but when you envision it taken in, dyed, or altered, it may take on a whole new light.  Plus, these stores are cheap and many have half off sales on a weekly basis!  Nothing better than that, folks.  Los Angeles has a slew of Goodwills, among other thrift stores.  One Goodwill in Los Angeles is located at 4575 Hollywood Boulevard.
  2. Wasteland  Vintage stores are where you'll find the good stuff.  These store owners have done the hard part for you.  Now your only job is to find the absolutely best fitting piece of clothing you can.  Wasteland is a great vintage store in Los Angeles that has received rave reviews.  You can find Wasteland at 7428 Melrose Avenue.
  3. Shareen Inc. This is a great place to go for vintage clothing that have been reconstructed in a funky and modern way.  Many celebrities frequent this store. Shareen Inc. is located at 350 North Avenue 21.
  4. Melrose Trading Post Flea markets are an awesome place to find just what you're looking for.  Here's where you'll see tons of vintage sellers in one place, so you'll have your pick of the litter. In addition, to clothing, there are antiques, records, and kitschy goods available for purchase too.  Melrose Trading Post, in West Hollywood at the Fairfax High School parking lot, is the quintessential flea market experience and has great sellers.  This flea market is located at 7850 Melrose Avenue.  Happy shopping!
