  1. Skydive Surf City. Skydive Surf City is located in Watsonville, California. If you have never gone skydiving before, Skydive Surf City recommends tandem skydiving with one of their instructors. You can choose to jump from 10,000 feet or 12,500 to 14,000 feet with Skydive Surf City. Digital photos and videos of your skydiving experience are available for an additional fee, as well. Skydive Surf City performs their dives in the Santa Cruz area, which has the best safety record in the entire industry.
  2. Skydive Perris. You will find Skydive Perris in Perris, California. They are the home of the largest fleet of skydiving aircraft on the entire west coast of the United States and they even have an indoor skydiving facility. You must be 18 years old to go skydiving at Skydive Perris and they recommend a tandem skydive. With a tandem skydive, you will jump from approximately 12,500 feet and your parachute will be deployed once you have reached approximately 5,000 feet.
  3. Bay Area Skydiving. Bay Area Skydiving is located in Byron, California. Bay Area Skydiving has been in business for over 20 years and their instructors have completed over a combined 10,000 jumps. Like Skydive Surf City and Skydive Perris, Bay Area Skydiving recommends tandem skydiving with one of their instructors. You can choose to jump from anywhere from 11,000 feet to 18,000 feet and discounts are available for groups, students and members of the military. Bay Area Skydiving has a minimum skydiving age of 18 years and the weight limit for passengers is 225 pounds.
