2. Decide if you want a day trip or an over-night trip. It is generally a good idea to get an early start on the Upper New River river. Over-night white water rafting trips are ideal if you plan to explore the Lower New River in addition to the Upper New River.
3. Decide if you want to go alone or with a guide. If you are going beyond the Upper New River(to the lower New River for example), it is required that you have a guide.
