Best known for being one of the NCAA's brightest college basketball players, Tyler Hansbrough has already become a legend at the University of North Carolina. In 2005, Tyler Hansbrough helped Poplar Bluff beat then undefeated and number one team in the nation Vashon High School. In 2008, Hansbrough swept all major individual honors in men's basketball and is affectionately known as "Psycho T" by UNC fans. He was a unanimous selection for the 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 Atlantic Coast Conference Team, and was drafted 13th overall by the Indiana Pacers in the 2009 NBA draft, but missed pre-season training due to an injury.
So the question everyone wants to know is does this legend in the making have a girlfriend? Well, the answer is currently maybe. There was a photograph of Tyler and UNC cheerleader Christy Wilson floating around the internet not too long ago, but neither Tyler nor Christy has officially confirmed if the two are indeed an item.
In 2008, during an interview with Star News online, his then team mates, Bobby Frasor and Marcus Ginyard were more than happy to discuss how they’ve never seen Tyler bake, but that he always comes home with baked goods. Tyler did admit blushingly, "My girlfriend loves to cook, and so every once in a while there'll be some brownies pop out and I'll bring them over to the house and the guys will eat them… And yes, I help out." At the time, there was no name or any other details dished about his then sweetheart, but when asked about whether or not those brownies were baked by him, Tyler finished by saying "I have enough of a role to keep my girlfriend happy."
Whether or not this star player is still with his sweetheart remains unknown. What can be confirmed is that with or without a girlfriend, Tyler will forever be known to have completed one of the most remarkable basketball careers in the NCAA.
