Why Did Angelina Jolie Leave Billy Bob Thornton?

Why did Angelina Jolie leave Billy Bob Thornton? There could be a number of reasons why this happened. Both are rich movie stars and they had conflicting schedules. Billy Bob had responsibilities to take care of his four children. Angelina Jolie saw that he was a great father and she may have wanted him to father her first child.
Neither Billy Bob Thornton nor Angelina Jolie left each other; they both began to grow apart from one another. Billy Bob Thornton had a hectic movie making schedule around that time. His IMDB page lists 6 credits in 2001 and 2 in 2002. Angelina's page lists 2 credit in 2001 and 1 in 2002. Billy Bob Thornton wanted to relax from this schedule and he wanted to escape. Billy used his music as a tool to do so and he focused on his band. Angelina Jolie became more focused on her humanitarian work. She was then named United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Goodwill Ambassador in 2001. Angelina Jolie was never far from refugee camps visiting many of them in 2002. She and Billy Bob Thornton adopted a Cambodian baby, named Maddox. Angelina is quoted as saying " It was a real deep connection, a deep marriage, so it's not that simple to say this or that one thing caused the problems. It's clear to me that our priorities shifted overnight. He's focused on his music and career. I'm focused on my baby. It comes down to what's important to you." They decided to separate with the confirmation of it in July 2002.
Their relationship included a strong physical attraction, an infatuation between the two that was present at all times. It's almost sickening when you hear they exchanged underwear and wore vials of each other's blood around their necks. The problem with the couple is they never kept their relationship as private as it could have been. They both flaunt that they had sex in a limousine while approaching a black tie event. Hopefully, they have both learned from each other's mistakes and become better people. At least they're still friends.
