Nintendo is a company that caters to all ages, so you can count on these Wii games for kids to keep the younger gamers satisfied. Most of them feature mild, comedic violence, but that’s a small price to pay for good entertainment. If your youngster has plenty of friends, expect them to show up in front of your television set when the Wii comes on.

  1. “New Super Mario Bros.” This Wii game for kids places Mario and Luigi in a classic platform adventure. While the graphics are much better than the old Super Nintendo games, the game play maintains that familiar simplicity. If extra Wii remotes are nearby, multiple players are free to explore Mario’s colorful world.
  2. “Kirby’s Epic Yarn.” This Wii game for kids brings a unique visual experience. In accordance with other games in the “Kirby” series, the game is very simple; however, it features numerous hidden challenges. As with the “New Super Mario Bros.” game, “Kirby’s Epic Yarn” features a multi-player mode that keeps the action interesting.
  3. “Rayman Raving Rabbids.” Kids will love the quirky humor that this Wii game brings to the television set. The fun revolves around a series of minigames involving demented-looking rabbits. This Wii game for kids is more fun in a group; however, a single player should be able to squeeze some enjoyment out it.
  4. “LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4.” Lego has created some impressive games for kids throughout the years; this Wii game adds to that collection. Even kids who don’t dabble in the “Harry Potter” series may enjoy this humorous adventure through Hogwarts. If wizards and wands simply aren’t doing the trick, invest in Lego’s other Wii games for kids.
