Meadow Walker posted an Instagram of herself yesterday and she looks a lot like her dad, the late The Fast and the Furious star Paul Walker, who died in a car accident in 2013 after leaving a charity event for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda).
Walker was just 40 years old when he passed, but through his career and charity work with his organization Reach Out Worldwide (ROWW)—which provides relief efforts for areas impacted by natural disasters—he left a lasting impact.
While his blue-eyed daughter has stayed super low-key on social media, her latest un-captioned photo has struck a chord with both fans and actors who’ve worked alongside him. At the time of writing this, just 24 hours since she posted, it’s already received over 68,000 likes and countless comments.
Walker’s co-star Tyrese Gibson, for one, reached out to write, “Hello angel. Sending love and light. Happy holidays!!”
The 18-year-old’s 1.3 million followers have been waiting for her to post again ever since she last did in July 2016, when she shared about The Paul Walker Foundation, which she set up in his memory to protect oceans and wildlife.
Feeling so honored to combine two of my dad’s legacies into one incredible experience. Today marks your LAST chance to support The Paul Walker Foundation for a chance to go to the set of #F8, hang out with the cast, AND check out some of the most incredible cars in the world. Enter through the link in my bio or visit omaze.com/fast for your last chance to win! Don’t miss out, it’s going to be a great time.
Sure, 1.3 million followers with only six photos is impressive—honestly, probably record-breaking. But we know her dad would be more honored to see his beauty following in his philanthropic footsteps.
