Nine Chicks We’d Like to See on ‘The Office’

Last week, NBC announced that model-turned-actress Cody Horn will be joining the cast of The Office at the start of next season. Since then, we’ve been busy mulling over which other hot chicks we’d like to see on the show, whether for their comedy chops or just because we like shows that heavily feature attractive women. In no particular order they are:

Cobie Smulders

Cobie Smulders

Pros: If her role on How I Met Your Mother is anything to go by (which it is), Smulders is funny enough, quirky enough, and down-to-earth enough to make it as an Office staffer.

Cons: She might just be too hot to play a believable desk jockey at a mid-range paper company. Then again, there’s always bound to be an office cutie or two at even the most mundane of corporate drudge-mills.

Alyson Hannigan

Alyson Hannigan

Pros: Part two of the How I Met Your Mother hot chick duo, Hannigan has been praised for her comedic abilities time and again. She did, after all, utter one of the most famous catch phrases of the last 20  years when she explained her extracurricular activities at band camp in American Pie.

Cons: She was in American Pie.

Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Plaza

Pros: Plaza is a natural funny person. Her deadpan style is one-of-a-kind and her ability to convey quiet rage is a constant source of hilarity on her current project, Office sister show Parks and Recreation.

Cons: It kind of gets old after a while.

Rose Byrne

Rose Byrne

Pros: Byrne proved her comedy chops with her part in Get Him to the Greek, and she’s about to do it again with a starring role in the upcoming Kristen Wiig vehicle Bridesmaids.

Cons: Like Smulders, she might just be too hot for the Office universe. But hey, that’s what makeup artists are for.

Elisabeth Moss

Elisabeth Moss

Pros: Another Get Him to the Greek alum, Moss is a versatile actress capable of playing funny and serious at the same time.

Cons: Given her Mad Men success, Moss is more likely to continue heading in the feature film direction as opposed to taking on sitcom roles. A cameo, however, would be entirely awesome.

Isla Fisher

Isla Fisher

Pros: Ridiculously attractive, but in a realistic way that wouldn’t seem out of place in the purposefully drab Office setting. Not to mention she’s funny as hell and seems to be all about comedy, given her choice of roles over the last few years.

Cons: Shares similar physical features with Jenna Fischer. Also their last names are basically the same. Way too confusing.

Lake Bell

Lake Bell

Pros: If you haven’t seen Lake Bell do her thing, check out the first season of Children’s Hospital on Adult Swim. The girl eats, breathes, and sleeps funny.

Cons: She seems to be trying for more serious roles lately. Not cool, Lake.

Olivia Munn

Olivia Munn

Just kidding.

Nasim Pedrad

Nasim Pedrad

Pros: Not only is Pedrad funny and attractive, she can also play a near-limitless range of comedy roles, as demonstrated by her work on SNL.

Cons: SNL can’t really afford to lose any talent at this point.

Anna Faris

Anna Faris

Pros: Faris is enormously funny and possesses a unique comedic style that’s all her own.

Cons: She’s kind of a show-stealer. Her personality is huge and it comes through in her acting to the point where it’s almost difficult to focus on the scene at hand. That said, a cameo never hurt anyone.
