The original Darth Vader costume from the (best) installment of the Star Wars series, The Empires Strikes back, is up for auction by Christie’s of London from a private seller. This iconic piece of movie memorabilia is one of the most coveted pieces of tangible Hollywood history – second, perhaps, only to the Batmobile.
The nefarious jet black suit is expected to go for somewhere in the neighborhood of 160,000 pounds and 230,000 pounds ($250,000 and $365,000) as the flagship item in a sale of pop culture memorabilia that takes place this November the 25th. Check out more pics of the nightmarish space suit below.
