Happen to be in New York? Like films? Then you’ll want to check out the Tribeca Film Festival, going on April 17-28. In addition to its usual slate of edgy independent movies and hilarious short films, this year’s festival is enhanced by a handful of Green Room Sessions, sponsored by Heineken.
Cranking the post-movie Q&A up a notch, these Green Room Sessions allow moviegoers to join the filmmakers at a nearby venue (read: a bar) after the film has screened to get to know the cast and crew in a social setting, complete with music, discussion and, of course, cold beers.
There are five of these Heineken Green Room Sessions planned, but the one we’re most excited about is for Lenny Cooke, a documentary about the most hyped high school basketball player in the country in 2001 (somehow even more hyped than LeBron James). See you at the movies… or at the bar afterwards!
