Microsoft is throwing a very big, very user-friendly hat into the ring of the next generation of smart phones with their new Windows Phone. Take what you like and dislike about the iPhone and the Droid, and ignore it. This is totally different.
The big things to think about here are the Hubs. These are dedicated places on your Start screen that amalgamate relevant content. Mouthful? Yeah. Here’s what that means. There’s a hub for people where all the info you need from Facebook, and other social networks is fed. There’s a Hub for music and video where you can browse through your media, there’s another for office stuff where you can stay on the ball at work.
