I have no idea how they are going to keep this thing afloat but here are the details of the ship named Project Genesis. It will be 1.5 times as big as the Queen Mary 2, and bigger than the 3600 passenger Freedom of the Seas, the world’s largest passenger vehicle at this time (expected to set sail in June) . Little details have been released but it is expected to be ready in 2009 and hold 5400 passengers. The ship will be owned by Royal Carribean International and built by Aker Yards of Finland. The new ship will be much larger than the Freedom of the Seas and here is what that ship has on it. An ice-skating rink, rockclimbing wall and an onboard surfing system. Passengers will have access to a water park, a promenade and a casino. She will generate almost 500,000 gallons of fresh water and require 35 tonnes of ice cubes every day.
