True, it was man-made lightning from a Tesla coil, but that doesn’t change the amount of voltage that ran through these watch cases which were, “engraved, mutilated, tortured,“lightning-struck” 100,000 volts, 200,000 volts, 500,000 volts or 1,000,000 volts”
The idea is to create a luxury item that is purely unique in not only its appearance, but its personal history, but to do so in a way that was still affordable for more than just the super rich. They assembled a master team of watchmakers and jewelers to do just that. They’re still somewhat expensive at a little over $5,000, but that’s just the cost of spitting in the face of mother nature.
