ESPN is rolling out their “SI Swimsuit Edition Killer” today and it looks to us like it stands no chance whatsoever. There are four different covers for the magazine, and two are guys. When we buy a magazine all about the beautiful bodies of athletes, we expect those bodies to be supple, female bodies. Not man meat that looks angry and possibly full of synthetic testosterone.
What were you thinking, ESPN? It doesn’t take a genius (though, happily, we’re geniuses) to figure out at least 8 chicks that would not only be better to put on the cover than guys, but that are hotter than current cover models Serena Williams and Gina Carano.
