Kick off the pigskin this week and relax. We’re not talking footballs. We’re talking Wolverine’s limited edition 1000 Mile “Pigskin” Boots, which drop in sync with NFL draft day.

The 130-year-old brand launched their original 1000 Mile Boot in 1914, and this Thursday they’ll drop their most recent—named after the common nickname for footballs used on the gridiron and handcrafted with genuine football cowhide leather from Horween Leather Company. The durable Goodyear Welt construction allows the boot to be re-soled, and it comes with two sets of flat waxed cotton laces, natural and brown.

Retailing at $400, the “Pigskin” Boot will be available exclusively at and at the Wolverine Company Store in New York. We’re not entirely sure what you’d pair these with, but maybe just a football jersey and a… side of bacon?
