LaCie’s XtremeKey flash drive is a rugged piece of work. You can tell because 1. They left an e out of the word extreme and 2. It’s got jeep tracks on it right there in the picture. Clearly, this is data storage for dudes who do not dick around.

This flash drive has capacities up to 64GB, and is wrapped in an impenetrable metal tube composed of zinc, aluminium, magnesium and copper. It’s pressure ressistant enough to withstand being run over by a 10-ton truck. It’s waterproof up to 100 meters due to wear-resistant screw threads and a rubber o-ring. And, it’s resistant to extreme heat and cold – anywhere from +200°C / -50°. It starts at $50 for the 8GB model.

Alexis Kobassian, the Product Manager at LaCie, says, “The XtremKey offers extreme durability and capacity in a convenient, well-protected and fun form factor. Despite the robust, industrial-strength protection we’ve added, it’s still a LaCie key that brings ease-of-use and reliability to customers looking to keep their data secure while on the go.”
